February 7, 2018 at 3PM EST. The HQ Trivia Game has more difficulties today. The winners and losers are not showing in the results. Therefore, people do not know if they have gotten the question correct or not. Scott Rogowsky, @ScottRogowsky (Twitter), the host appeared to be a little off-taken from this glitch. Even though the app appears to have had a glitch all the way through the 3PM game, there were 452 winners who won $5.53 each.
In a previous game where over Two Million played during the Super Bowl Half-Time, there was a major glitch where the questions were delayed in posting the results. In that game, the winners split $20,000.
It has been reported that Peter Thiel has made a massive investment into @HQTrivia. Thiel supported Donald Trump’s campaign in the 2016 Election. Although, many Democrats have vowed to delete the app, there always is at least 1 million players at every game time. The game times are at 3PM and 9PM on Monday through Friday, and at 9PM on Saturday and Sunday nights. HQ can be followed on Twitter at @HQTrivia. Each game, players try to win $2500, which is split among the remaining winners. They must answer 12 trivia questions correctly. Payments are made via PayPal.
As I was finishing writing this article, HQ just made a new announcement where they were going to start the game again at 3:35 PM on February 7, 2018. 941,000 people were playing the second game, which they have never done before as Rogowsky stated that this was historical. Although they are playing a second game, the glitch seems to still be in effect showing that zero people either got the questions right or wrong.
